Reunion Records’ Jason Crabb Celebrates Nomination For A GRAMMY® Award
It was announced yesterday that Reunion Records‘ artist Jason Crabb received a GRAMMY® nomination for the upcoming 58th Annual GRAMMY® Awards. Crabb’s highly touted album, Whatever The Road, was nominated in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Album category.
This is his fifth nomination in his career, including three nominations with The Crabb Family. Crabb won his first GRAMMY award in 2010 with his self-titled album Jason Crabb.
The 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held Monday, February 15, 2016 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and broadcast live on CBS from 8-11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
“It is an honor to be recognized by the NARAS members,” Crabb shared upon hearing the news. “This project was born during a difficult period of my life as I lost one of the great influences in my Christian walk, my grandmother and prayer warrior, Billy Richardson. I recorded this project with her on my heart and mind so this is extra special to me. This nomination is for everyone who has worked so hard on this project. I must give a huge thank you to my producers, Paul Mabury and Jason Ingram. To my dear friends who make up the NARAS/GRAMMY organization – I am deeply blessed to have your support! To God be the glory.”
Whatever The Road was released on September 18 with Crabb’s new label home Reunion Records. The album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top Christian and Gospel Albums chart and at No. 1 on Soundscan’s Adult Contemporary Albums chart.
Crabb is ending the year on tour promoting Whatever The Road, and will continue touring into 2016 kicking off on January 9 in Lake Charles, LA. The latest tour dates are listed below, but click here for the most updated information.
