Maila Gibson has performed with artists like Jim Brickman, Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald, and Natalie Cole. She is best known for her recording of “The Prayer” with Grammy nominated Hawaiian recording artists, Ho’okena.
Together, they are multiple Na Hoku Hanohano Award winners. Their first album as a duo, “Forevermore,” received the award for Contemporary Album of the Year. Ben and Maila perform weekly at the Disney Aulani Resort and recently performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Their music was also featured in the major motion picture, “You May Not Kiss The Bride,” starring Katherine McPhee, Rob Schneider, and Kathy Bates.
Their second album, “All About Love,” will release on November 20, 2015. Much like their first album, it consists of contemporary love songs, but this time with a little bit more of a contemporary Hawaiian sound.
