Moody Radio morning drive-time host and Frontiers recording artist Perry LaHaie will lead worship and share music from his critically-acclaimed CD, Ahead, during the Crescent Project’s Oasis Conference, which is scheduled for Thursday November 5th through Saturday, November 7th. The event will be held at the Open Door Presbyterian Church in Herndon, Virginia in the greater Washington D.C. area.
The Crescent Project’s mission–to inspire, equip and serve the Church in America to reach Muslims in America with the Gospel–is a perfect fit for LaHaie, who is best known as a recording artist with Frontiers, an international community of people dedicated to inviting Muslims all over the world to follow Jesus. Both LaHaie and the Crescent Project have a vision to see a day when fear is replaced with love and millions of Christians are actively sharing the truth of Christ with millions of Muslims for the glory of God. The Crescent Project does this through prayer, training, local outreach, and short-term trips. The Oasis Conference will offer several workshops and general sessions with powerful speakers designed to equip attendees to reach our Muslim friends, neighbors, co-workers and classmates.
“I’m excited to be partnering with the Crescent Project as they train Jesus followers in the U.S. to reach American Muslims,” says LaHaie. “Muslims who are reached here with the love of Jesus can reach their family and friends here and in their Muslim homelands.”
