Christian Hip-Hop Group Life Through Colors Invited to Haiti by US Embassy

Christian hip-hop group, Life Through Colors, has been invited by the cultural affairs office at the US Embassy in Haiti to come share their music and messages about non-violence. The group will also discuss why is it important to follow your dreams, their expectations in life, and will share with the youth how Christianity can change their lives.
“I am grateful, honored and humbled to have been chosen for this mission for Christ,” said group member T. Pope.
“It’s a blessing and an honor to be chosen by God to spread his word not only here in America, but internationally,” said fellow group member Rockette.
The group will leave on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015 and return on Saturday, Oct.3, 2015. Stops will include a juvenile detention facility, a women’s prison and several visits with the youth in the area.

Life Through Colors is a three-member American Gospel Hip-Hop group based out of Montgomery, Alabama. The inner-city swag and transparent rhyme of Rockette, T. Pope and Jimbo the Jet is a reflection of the urban street culture that infiltrated the Mississippi and Alabama streets where they were raised. Their journey of faith together is shaping their testimony, their sound and their destiny.
