Yes, you did indeed read that right. Underoath’s hiatus has ended! In a recent interview with Alternative Press, Underoath’s Spencer Chamberlain and Aaron Gillespie revealed that “The hiatus is off.” You can read the interview over on Alternative Press right here.

As we reported first here, Underoath sparked the “Underoath reunion” rumor mill off again on July 31st as they updated their social media pictures to pictures saying that a “rebirthiscoming” and posted a 15 second teaser video which featured a slowed down version of the “I’m drowning in my sleep” part of Underoath’s “Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door” song off their 2004 They’re Only Chasing Safety album.

Well today they have made an announcement over at We won’t spoil the announcement here, so head on over and see it for yourself. It is also revealed in the Alt. Press interview where more details on it can be found.

All we will say on the announcement is that the timer on the website is still counting down until August 25th, so we still expect there to be another announcement, or maybe multiple announcements, then so stay tuned for more updates.
