As we announced a month ago through our Facebook page here while we were offline partially redesigning the website, Disciple are currently hard at work on their brand new EP. Below is our announcement again. Also, in case you missed it, Jason Wilkes announced his departure from the band through this Facebook post.

Following the release of their most recent and highly successful album, Attack, Christian hard rock band Disciple has already begun recording a new project. What started out as a B-Sides album will now be a stand alone EP. According to front man Kevin Young, this group of songs were all songs that the band loved, but they simply did not fit in with the theme of Attack. This new project will allow fans to see a slightly different side of Disciple, as these songs are a bit darker and more emotional in content. On a recent podcast, the band teased at the possible song titles to be included on this new EP: “Sayonara,” “Awakening,” “Sanctuary,” “Remember the Night,” “Breaking Down,” and “More.” A release date has not yet been announced, but fans should be on the look out for yet another incredible musical project from this band.
