There are four ladies in St. Louis, MO who have a Hallelujah! in their soul.  The all-female quartet group known as JEWELL & CONVERTED consists of four vibrant leading ladies: Jewell Taylor, Lydia Jones, Ni’Asia Hatch-Boyd, and Bablen White.   Jewell & Converted began singing together in 2001 and quickly gained popularity with their ostentatious showmanship and colorful style of gospel quartet singing.

Jewell & Converted’s current project FOR REAL on Malaco Records features their latest single “Hallelujah”.  The ladies recently gave the crowd a taste of their spirited showmanship and received a standing ovation at the Allstate Gospel Superfest Battle of The Bands regional Competition in Memphis, TN. They truly “brought the house down” with their live performance of “Hallelujah” and won a spot as a top three finalist in the Battle of the Bands Championship.  Fans can vote now for the champion by logging on to www.GospelSuperfest.com.

Jewell & Converted continue to emerge as one of Gospel music’s most electrifying and breath-taking groups.  Their personal love for traditional Gospel Quartet music paired with their edgy, radical modern delivery is the catalyst to their growing popularity.  Jewell & Converted is building their strong fan base with this unique style and energizing performances.  These Women of God are becoming the “Jewels” of the Gospel Music Industry.
