With an estimated 20.9 millions souls being tormented by the evils of human trafficking worldwide, we must do everything within our power to combat this wicked perversity. With Dance For Justice, some of the best and upcoming DJ’s/producers from across the world donated tracks to put together a compilation where all the money raised will go directly to Hope for Justice.
As Nalini Tranquim sings in the title track from DJ Jireh, “We can not close our eyes, living blind to reality. This kind of slavery is bringing destruction to humanity.”
In “Not 4 Sale,” DJ Subb samples President Obama’s speech to the Clinton Global Initiative in 2012. “When a woman is locked in a sweatshop, or trapped in a home as a domestic servant, alone and abused and incapable of leaving — that’s slavery. When a little boy is kidnapped, turned into a child soldier, forced to kill or be killed — that’s slavery.” Read more from his moving speech here.
All of the songs contain great music, but even more than that, a great purpose. With your love for electronic house, trance, and rap, you can now help fight slavery!
