The first studio album in three years from Alternative Pop/Rock band Family Force 5, Time Stands Still, released Aug. 5 from Word Entertainment and makes its debut this week at No. 1 as the best-selling album on the Christian/Gospel Overall and Digital Album, Current Contemporary Christian and Christian Rock/Alternative/Rap overall SoundScan charts while hitting No. 17 on the Overall Digital Albums chart and No. 30 on the Billboard Top 200. The album’s first Christian AC/CHR radio single, “Let It Be Love,” also picked up a Dove Award nomination for Rock/Contemporary Song of the Year. The nomination was announced today from Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena, where the 45th Annual GMA Dove Awards ceremony is set to take place Oct. 7.
“Let It Be Love” continues its ascent on the charts as it emphasizes the incredible, life-giving power of grace. Hitting No. 6 this week and climbing at CHR, the song is also “New & Active” at both AC Monitored and Indicator charts this week. The song further picks up new adds and increased spins on Air 1, SiriusXM, WBVM (Tampa), KADI (Springfield, MO), WGTS (Washington, DC), WLFJ (Greenville, SC), WJLZ (Norfolk, VA) and KBNJ (Corpus Christi, TX).
