The just shall live by faith. Live by faith and not by sight. Without faith it is impossible to please God.
We have heard these words from the Bible so many times from the pulpit, the radio, on TV and online, but someway somehow faith happens to be quite the challenge to most believers. I don’t know why, perhaps because we live in a world where all decisions are taken according to how rational it sounds and how realistic it looks.
But to have faith, one has to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to what the world thinks of your expectation from God. You have to take a bold step to put all your eggs (hopes) in God’s basket (hands) and believe that none of your hopes will get squashed along the way. We sometimes do not get what we ask for because what we ask for does not align with what He has planned for us. And being the awesome father that He is, He gives us the very best things as compared to what we thought were great.
When we go before our Father, we should not entertain any doubt because even an iota of it renders everything null and void. It is always helpful to look back and count our blessings. We realize how far God has brought us and that should strengthen our faith in Him to take care of our present circumstances. The God we have believed in is faithful; He never fails, why would He start now? He is the same yesterday, today and forever so take heart; He will show Himself faithful in your life sooner than you think.
