Vaughaligan Walwyn Announces Nu Season Music Group VP and New Artists

Christian Hip-Hop pillar, Pastor Vaughaligan Walwyn (formerly known as Von Won), announces Earl “Eazy” Harbor as Nu Season Music Group’s Vice President of Marketing and Promotions. Harbor started his DJ career in 1985, is a member of the One Accord DJ alliance, and has been involved with Christian Hip-Hop since 1996.

“I’m very excited and was caught off guard when Pastor Vaughaligan asked me to take on this position. I had a lot of things going on, but because I respect him, I couldn’t say anything but yes,” Harbor said.

With Harbor in position, Nu Season has expanded to bring new artists to the music group. New additions include an eclectic range of sounds from Richard Hollis (Urban/Neo Soul), The New Cool (Worship & Rhyme), Lozt Zoul (Latin/Hip- Hop), Ben Donnelly (Contemporary Rock), Josue Castillo (Christian Reggaeton), Jesse Mitchell (Gospel), as well as Christian rap acts DJ Anomally, Adam Paul and Manna House Souljas.

“God is calling us to reach people and make disciples. With Grace Still Abides, our goal was to be a bridge between the church and the streets. When people come into the Kingdom, it may be difficult for them to dive into theologically heavy sermons. Each of the new artists are diverse, mature in Christ, and have a sound that’s relevant to the streets and accessible to new believers entering into a new season in their lives,” Walwyn said.

To introduce Nu Season to the community, Walwyn and his team will host Christmas in July: a Houston-based health and wellness initiative to fight against childhood obesity. On Saturday, July 26 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 9701 Almeda Genoa Rd. Houston, TX 77075, Nu Season in partnership with Project Houston, 97.9 The Box, Big Brothers Big Sisters and more will distribute bicycles, backpacks, and school supplies to children in need. An inspirational concert and free Nu Season Summertime Sampler CD will be distributed and available as a free download Tuesday, July 29.
