“Today’s my day, You changed my name. I might limp away but I’ll never be the same. I’ll never be the same, never be the same.”

“Never Be The Same” is such a beautiful, timeless song.

With each day that we walk this walk, we grow.

We grow and we turn into the person that God wants us to be, the person He has willed us to be.

Despite singing the same words throughout the song, “Never Be The Same” is powerful because, it is these same words that take us on a journey of reflection; ‘Today’s my day, You changed my name. I might limp away but I’ll never be the same. I’ll never be the same, never be the same.’ These words have the power to uplift; these words, alongside the musical arrangement, have the power to make your day.

The word tells us that if any man is in Christ then he is a new creature; the old things have passed away, behold, new things have come (2 Corinthians 5:17). We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10).

“Never Be The Same” reminds us that a meeting with Christ is life changing. It reminds us that accepting Christ is life changing. It reminds us that living for Christ is life changing.

I hope that this song will bless you as it has blessed me.

May you have a wonderful week.
