Artist: Salt Of The Sound Song/Video: It Must Be Hope Album: Sophomore EP coming late summer this year – title not yet known
Single Details & Song Meaning (from artist): “It Must Be Hope” is the new single from Christian husband and wife duo Anita & Ben Tatlow (aka Salt Of The Sound). Following the success of their debut album Journeys, which reviewers described as an “unquestionably strong first album” (Cross Rhythms) and “5/5” (CMAddict), “It Must Be Hope” is the first song from their forthcoming EP, scheduled for release in late summer 2014.
“It Must Be Hope” continues the unique blend of electronic sounds, evocative vocal harmonies, and thoughtful lyrical messages found on Journeys, while reflecting the theme of Hope by incorporating a more upbeat and driving musical language.
Songs by Salt Of The Sound have been widely featured on Christian and secular media, from radio (BBC, UCB) through to eminent online podcasts (Pray As You Go, Dave’s Lounge).
“Where You Are,” the B-side on It Must Be Hope, showcases a further development of the duo’s sound, with a greater focus on acoustic instrumentation while retaining the more meditative nature of their earlier work.
Upcoming News/Projects: Sophomore EP is due out late this summer, more details to come

Their aim is to create songs that encourage spiritual reflection both in church environments and in times of personal quiet, while also exploring musical styles and expressions that bring a freshness to the Christian music scene.
Salt Of The Sound was originally conceived in 2010 and it took a number of years for Anita and Ben to develop the blend of electronic and acoustic sounds they feel appropriately compliments their message. And having been based in London for five years, Anita and Ben are now based in Stockholm, Sweden and are involved in the musical ministry of Immanuel International church.
