Emery Launches “The BadChristian Podcast”

BadChristian, the new multi-faceted website, blog and record label formed by the popular rock group, Emery, has launched its latest endeavor, ‘The BadChristian Podcast with Matt, Toby, and Joey,’ available now on iTunes at: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-badchristian-podcast/id807519271?mt=2 and BadChristian.com at: http://badchristian.com/podcasts. The setting of the podcast is upbeat and casual, inviting listeners to settle in with ear buds and a beer while the guys discuss the craziness of their lives – the touring experiences with their band Emery, and the types of conversations they’ve had in bars, rock clubs, church counseling sessions, small groups and backyard barbeques. The latest episode, featuring an exclusive chat with former Underoath keyboardist, Chris Dudley, is out now.

BadChristian was formed in 2013 by Matt Carter, Toby Morrell and Joey Svendsen. Carter and Morrell are worship leaders and founders of Emery, a successful touring rock band that has sold over 500,000 records and toured in 49 states.

The multi-dimensional, BADCHRISTIAN.com, sees over 100,000 unique monthly visitors with more than 200,000 page views, features a blog with over 10,000 subscribers, a podcast that debuted at 15 on the iTunes top charts and a record label.

The new record label, BadChristian Music, released its inaugural offering earlier this week, ‘Live in Color,’ a live EP from the Seattle, Wash. 10-musician collective, Kings Kaleidoscope. To celebrate, the EP from the Mars Hill Church alumni will be available for free download for one week via the BadChristian website at: http://badchristian.com/campaign/liveincolor/.

The stunning ‘Live in Color’ performance can also be seen in its entirety on YouTube at: http://youtu.be/S02aN7ihMoM.

Stay tuned for more information on BadChristian and ‘The BadChristian Podcast with Matt, Toby, and Joey.’
