It is always such a joy to come your way again to share a special time as this with you. It is a new year and it is important we set our priorities straight. We need to give precedence to things that matter most to us. And as Christians, we’re always reminded to put God first in all that we do and make Christ the center of our lives.
Proverbs 16:3 (KJV) tells us to “Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”
To commit is to surrender; not partly, not when it is convenient but all the way, come what may. And who else can you be totally sure of taking complete care of you if not God?
You may have tried it your own way so many times but you’ve always come out as the loser. It is not too late to hand over the wheel to the One who keepsin the universe runng smoothly.
Surrendering your will doesn’t mean sitting on the fence. It requires a constant effort to stay alright with God. Our relationship with God is like a daily walk. Every day is required and every day counts. You may fall on the way, but the good news is He is always there to help you back up.
Why not surrender to our Lord Jesus today? And you’ll never regret you did.
