There is a new sound coming from the Foothills of North Carolina in the small town of Wilkesboro. The little town is famous for MerleFest, an annual tribute to the lives of Bluegrass artists Merle and Doc Watson. The traditional music festival is held in April each year and attracts thousands of bluegrass fans from around the world.

The new sound is much different than the traditional music played at MerleFest. A collaboration between an emerging Christian Hiphop artist Keith Ya Man Beef Moore and Scott Frazier, an accomplished praise and worship artist.  Frazier also serves as Senior Pastor of the culturally diverse New Covenant Christian Church in Wilkesboro. The combined gifts of these two men are creating a new sound to resonate a culture shift in our midst.

Moore grew up in the church but was first inspired by 90’s Hiphop music.  As life progressed and he gained an understanding of the love, blessings, and gifts he had received from God, Moore then made a decision to give his gifts back to the Creator. He hopes to inspire those who have lost hope and feel that they’re all alone with his music.

Frazier formerly performed with the Contemporary Christian Musical group Higher Ground before planting New Covenant Christian Church, aka NC3, in 2006.  He has a strong background in contemporary jazz and gospel music and produced The Process. Pastor Frazier leads praise and worship on Sunday mornings and conducts at least two services per week at the church.

The Process, Ya Man Beef’s first single EP, contains three songs, the title track The Process, Can’t Even Walk, and Don’t Mind The Fight. Moore is lead vocalist on all three tracks, with Frazier on the keyboard and background vocals.

The Process is now available for purchase on Amazon, iTunes, and Google Play.
