We all wake up expecting a brighter day than the day before. Sometimes our expectations are met, but at other times they are utterly shattered. But hope is never lost. We go to bed, thankful for how the day ended and optimistic that the next day will get better.

The fact that the day started gloomy and cloudy does not mean the sun won’t come up. You might be expecting some miraculous results of some sort but they don’t seem to be happening at the time you would wish them to. But the truth is, sometimes we are wrong about what we want, how we want them and even when to have them. There is nothing as beautiful as a flower which blossoms in its time.

We all have dreams and we wish to see them realized sooner than later. But with time comes maturity and that implies its long-lasting capacity. They say great things take time to ripen. It takes patience in waiting for the rains to stop so the sun may shine. The wait may be frustrating but it is the perfect time to prepare for what to do when the sun does come up. It is not wise to waste the waiting time grumbling about things not happening the way you want. It is the time to reflect on what you want and how to handle the situation when it does arrive.
Man may make his plans but God is the one who directs his steps.

It is good to make plans but be sure God is the one leading the way.
