When we are promised something, we sometimes find it hard to believe it until we have at least caught a glimpse of it. The world runs on expectations or previews of what is in store for the near future. Evidence must be seen, touched and felt, before it will be accepted. But God’s Word tells us that “…we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal”- 2 Corinthians 4:18 (KJV).

It takes more than what the eyes can behold to have a fulfilled life. Some people with no obvious prospects of ever being successful receive life-transforming miracles and not because the universe worked a trick in their favor. Their stories changed because they had faith that the God who created the universe is the one who would cater for them, and He did. And He continues to do so for so many others who have placed their trust in Him.

Things may not always be rosy but by faith we believe that things are working out for our good.  The doctor may have declared you terminally ill but believe that the Great Physician has taken away your ailment. Your bank accounts may be in a state of drought but have faith that God your Provider will sustain you and your family. Whatever your need is, believe that He has you covered.

“…Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed”- John 20:29 (KJV).
