Multiple Grammy and Dove Award-winning recording artist John Schlitt recently attended the 2014 International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) held in Atlanta to promote his upcoming Christmas CD, The Christmas Project.

While at the conference, Schlitt met with numerous media outlets and ministries, including Life Today TV, Control Track TV, World News Group Radio, and more. He also was a featured guest in the Send the Light (STL) Distribution booth, where he signed copies of his new Christmas CD, The Christmas Project.

ICRS is always a beneficial event for those in the industry, including artists, authors and Christian retailers. This year, however, the convention seemed special to me. Although I spent a very productive day doing interviews with the media about my new CD, The Christmas Project which releases in September, actually being able to sign the CD while meeting people one-on-one made ICRS 2014 memorable for me.”

ICRS, featuring approximately 300 exhibits, brings together more than 2,000 attendees and exhibitors from the United States and more than 50 countries. The most recent show was held June 22-25 at the Georgia World Congress Center.

Schlitt is currently promoting a Christmas CD, The Christmas Project, which was released digitally in November 2013 and is set for a brick and mortar release on September 2.

About John Schlitt:

For more than four decades, John Schlitt has enjoyed a stellar musical career as a solo artist, as the lead singer for Grammy Award-winning Christian band Petra, one of the most successful Christian rock bands of all time, and as the former lead singer for popular ’70s mainstream rock band Head East. He has been inducted into the Gospel Hall of Fame as the lead singer of Petra during the years when the band won 10 Dove Awards and four Grammy Awards.

Since Schlitt released his fourth solo CD, The Greater Cause, in May 2012, the legendary vocalist’s busy schedule has included appearances on The Mike Huckabee Show, 700 Club Interactive and the Faith & Freedom Celebration–the faith-based kick-off to the Republican National Convention, as well as extensive international touring. Schlitt released his first recorded project of Christmas music in November 2013 with the digital release of The Christmas Project. A brick and mortar release of The Christmas Project is set for September 2.
