We’re delighted to welcome Patrick Hess to the JesusWired team of contributors. Patrick has a lot of experience in the Christian music industry, especially with indie artists (which just so happens to be our primary focus!) and we’re really looking forward to working with Patrick to highlight talented young indie artists through reviews and potentially other methods too. Patrick’s bio and what he says about joining JesusWired can be seen below…

Patrick’s bio:

After having spent nearly 30 years in Sales and Marketing and owning his own Marketing Consulting Company since 1999, Patrick Hess has evolved his business to become a full service artist management firm for the best in upcoming Indie talent around the U.S.A. and Canada. His primary focus is within the Christian / Gospel industry with young talent that create music competing with the secular Top 40 artists. An entertainment industry hobbyist on the side, he also provides an interesting insight in film and television shows.

Joining JesusWired:

The good is that JesusWired operates from more of an independent outside perspective from the hotbed of traditional Christian music (CCM). The bad is that I tend to be a bit harsh about artists trying to follow the CCM formula and trends. I’m excited to see how my firsthand experience in and apart from Nashville will help Christians see and appreciate music and entertainment from a less traditional lens.

Welcome to the team Patrick!
